Authentication-international for this market is ₹2.4971 per message. It replaces the authentication rate above only when Meta marks the business as eligible.
What these messages mean
Marketing
A promotion, offer, or re-engagement sent as a marketing template. Meta charges for every marketing template that is delivered, including messages sent while a customer service window is open.
Utility
A message about a transaction the customer already has, such as an order confirmation, a shipping update, or an account notice. From 1 October 2026, Meta also charges for utility templates sent inside the 24-hour customer service window. Higher monthly volume can move utility onto a lower tier. This estimate uses the list rate.
Authentication
A one-time password or other verification code. Meta charges for each authentication template that is delivered. Some businesses are billed the higher authentication-international rate instead. This estimate uses the standard authentication rate for the market. Volume tiers can lower that rate. They are not applied here.
Service
A reply to a customer who messaged the business, sent inside the open 24-hour customer service window. From 1 October 2026, Meta charges service messages at the same rate as utility for that market. Each business phone number gets 1,000 free service messages a month. The allowance resets monthly and does not roll over. This estimate subtracts those 1,000 before charging the rest.
